Bespoke Course Mental Health Helping you to Help a Loved One with Mental Health
Helping you to help a loved one with mental health; since HMB Training Services is committed to saving lives, we are keen to promote mental health awareness throughout our mental health first aid bespoke training. Anxiety and depression are two frequent mental health issues that 1 in 6 persons in England report having at least once a week. Mental Health First Aiders can learn how to spot symptoms of depression and anxiety on this bespoke course.
We have created a short micro course specifically for you to help you support a family member or friend who is having difficulties with poor mental health.

In this course, we will explore the risk to the mental health of carers whilst supporting a loved one.
We will discuss the different coping strategies and techniques available to you so that you stay well and confident while caring for your loved one.
Through this course, we hope to increase awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and provide you with the knowledge and tools to support your loved one’s mental health as well as your own.
This is a laid-back course with teaching components, discussion topics, and story-sharing possibilities. The course’s objective is to help you learn while also preparing you to assist others with whom you connect.
Course Content
By attending our in detail half-day ‘Helping you to Help a Loved One with Mental Health’ course you have an understanding of Mental Health, identify Depression and Anxiety, and provide and start a conversation.

In this course, we will explore the risk to the mental health of carers whilst supporting a loved one.
We will discuss the different coping strategies and techniques available to you so that you stay well and confident while caring for your loved one.
