Progression
Continue your learning in your early years teaching role by completing our Paediatric first aid course. Due to safeguarding, it is essential to complete a paediatric first aid course.
In our first aid courses firstly we teach you how to treat life-saving conditions, perform CPR and use a defibrillator. Have a further understanding of the causes of unconsciousness and how to turn a child into a recovery position. Additionally, learn how to help a choking child and treatment for severe bleeding and minor injuries. On day two we go into the depth of illnesses such as diabetes, febrile convulsions, hypothermia and hyperthermia, asthma, anaphylactic shock, broken bones, head injuries, and spinal injuries.
