About the Trainer
Heather founded HMB Training Services in 2017 creating a training portfolio in First Aid, Health & Safety and Mental Health Training. In June 2024 the launch of Neurodiversity Training was created.
Heather’s passion with neurodiversity started when she worked in schools since 2012. She had a connection and curiosity when she was supporting SEN children. She went on many courses to have further understanding and supported many children.
In 2021 Heather’s daughter was diagnosed with ASD – Autism, having to navigate with the authorities, school, doctor’s to get the care her daughter needed felt hard and tough being a parent. As the time went on, Heather realised many workplaces were struggling with their neurodivergent staff. That’s when Neurodiversity training was born.
Heather doesn’t want to stop with training she wants to support people further with the struggles that she had to go through. She is happy to have a chat, all free of charge to help people further with their struggles.
